 veloping more humane compliance policies in the af
 termath of Robodebt\, and supporting international
  engagement on climate change and health. Jacob wa
 s the Director of safety and quality in healthcare
  during the early stages of the Covid-19 pandemic 
 before moving to the Crawford School of Public Pol
 icy at ANU to undertake a PhD. His research looks 
 at how public institutions shape policies that imp
 act disadvantaged people. Jacob is an expert in pu
 blic policy and Australia’s welfare state and has 
 delivered research and executive education for mul
 tiple government agencies on these topics. He main
 tains an association with the Crawford School of P

 t roles and priorities of politicians and public s
 ervants in crafting a budget. We will then work th

 ctical advice for reading and understanding the di
 fferent documents that end up in the budget.</p>\n

 he Child Care Subsidy\, developing more humane com
 pliance policies in the aftermath of Robodebt\, an
 d supporting international engagement on climate c
 hange and health. Jacob was the Director of safety
  and quality in healthcare during the early stages
  of the Covid-19 pandemic before moving to the Cra
 wford School of Public Policy at ANU to undertake 
 a PhD. His research looks at how public institutio
 ns shape policies that impact disadvantaged people
 . Jacob is an expert in public policy and Australi
 a’s welfare state and has delivered research and e
 xecutive education for multiple government agencie
 s on these topics. He maintains an association wit
